StudyGhost AI provides an AI-supported digital system which, based on individual customer input, generates sample academic papers, drafts, templates, structural aids and supporting materials.

The services serve exclusively:

  • as inspiration,

  • for orientation,

  • for structuring,

  • for academic support,

  • for private further processing,

  • and for independent elaboration by the Customer.

StudyGhost AI expressly does not owe any academic admission, university acceptance, recognition in examinations or any particular study or examination success.


2.2 No submission as own work

The content provided is not intended to be submitted unchanged as the Customer's own academic work.

The Customer undertakes to review, adapt and further develop the content on their own responsibility and to use it in accordance with the rules of their university or educational institution.

Responsibility for the specific use of the content lies solely with the Customer.


2.3 Individual creation

The content is generated individually on the basis of the information submitted by the Customer.

The quality and structure of the generated content depends in particular on:

  • the Customer's information,

  • the accuracy of the input,

  • the sources provided,

  • the parameters selected,

  • technical factors,

  • and AI-related generation processes.


2.4 Scope of services

StudyGhost AI currently offers in particular the following packages:


Complete package

  • up to 40 pages


Premium Plus package

  • up to 120 pages

In addition, the Customer can book optional additional services (“add-ons”), in particular:


Visualisations

  • Diagrams

  • Graphics

  • Charts

  • supplementary visual content


2.5 Special academic formats

Special academic formats or special requirements are only owed if they have been expressly offered or confirmed.

This applies in particular to:

  • empirical analyses,

  • legal opinions,

  • primary data analyses,

  • special statistical analyses,

  • program code,

  • complex research designs,

  • or highly specialised academic special formats.


3. Conclusion of contract

3.1 Presentation of services

The presentation of the services on the website does not constitute a legally binding offer, but an invitation to submit an offer.


3.2 Order

By:

  • selecting a package,

  • completing the payment process,

  • and clicking the button “order with obligation to pay”

the Customer submits a binding offer to conclude a contract.

3.3 Checking the input

Before completing the order, the Customer can check and correct their information at any time.

3.4 Conclusion of contract

The contract is only concluded upon successful payment confirmation.

3.5 Contract language

The contract languages are German and English.

In the event of contradictions or questions of interpretation, only the German language version shall be authoritative.


4. Use of the editor and customer input

Access to the editor takes place via:

  • and an automatically generated access code.

The access code is personalised and generally intended for one-time use only.

The purchaser is permitted to pass on the access code.

4.2 Authority of the input

Only the information provided by the Customer in the editor or questionnaire is authoritative for the performance of the service.

  • or other communication channels

will only be taken into account if this has been expressly confirmed.

4.3 Obligation to provide correct input

Before submitting the questionnaire, the Customer confirms with binding effect:

  • that all information is complete and correct,

  • that the information provided may be used,

  • and that only this information forms the basis for the performance of the service.


5. Delivery times and provision

5.1 Delivery time

Provision usually takes place within:

  • 2 to 4 hours.

In exceptional cases, in particular in the event of:

  • high system load,

  • technical problems,

  • maintenance work,

  • third-party problems,

  • or force majeure,

provision may be extended to up to 48 hours.

5.2 Form of delivery

The content is provided digitally.

Provision takes place in particular via:

  • download links,

  • cloud storage,

  • or comparable digital retrieval systems.

5.3 Duration of provision

The content is generally available for retrieval by the Customer for 60 days.

After this period has expired, content may be deleted.

The Customer is responsible for downloading content in good time and saving it locally.


6. Prices and terms of payment

6.1 Prices

All prices include statutory VAT.

6.2 Payment methods

Payments are processed exclusively via external payment service providers, in particular Stripe.

The following payment methods, among others, may be offered via Stripe:

  • Visa

  • Mastercard

  • American Express

  • Apple Pay

  • Google Pay

  • Klarna

  • Sofort bank transfer

  • PayPal

  • Amazon Pay

  • giropay

The availability of individual payment methods may vary.

6.3 Due date

Payment is due immediately upon conclusion of the contract.

6.4 Invoicing

Invoicing takes place automatically via Stripe.

6.5 Price changes

Price changes apply exclusively to future orders.

Contracts already concluded remain unaffected.


7. Right of withdrawal and expiry of the right of withdrawal

7.1 Digital content

The services offered are digital content or digital services.

7.2 Consent to the start of performance

The Customer expressly agrees that StudyGhost AI begins performing the digital service before the statutory withdrawal period expires.

7.3 Expiry of the right of withdrawal

When performance of the digital service begins, the Customer loses their statutory right of withdrawal pursuant to Section 356(5) of the German Civil Code (BGB).

Performance begins in particular with:

  • activation of the editor,

  • provision of the access code,

  • start of the generation processes,

  • or the start of individual processing of the customer input.


8. Quality, AI systems and disclaimers

8.1 AI-generated content

The content is generated entirely or predominantly by AI systems.

Despite internal review processes, it cannot be ruled out that content contains:

  • errors,

  • inaccuracies,

  • outdated information,

  • citation errors,

  • structural errors,

  • formatting deviations,

  • or other inconsistencies.

8.2 No guarantee of success

In particular, StudyGhost AI gives no guarantee for:

  • particular grades,

  • academic success,

  • university admission,

  • passing examinations,

  • recognition by universities,

  • freedom from plagiarism according to particular external systems,

  • results of AI detectors,

  • or academic completeness.

8.3 AI detectors and plagiarism software

Results of external:

  • AI detectors,

  • plagiarism programs,

  • or checking software

are beyond our control.

Different systems may produce different results.

No guarantee is given for particular detection scores.

8.4 Third-party providers

StudyGhost AI uses external technical service providers and platforms.

These may include in particular:

  • Stripe,

  • Framer,

  • Supabase,

  • Google Drive,

  • Resend,

  • Vercel,

  • Weaviate,

  • cloud providers,

  • as well as AI and API services.

No liability is accepted for outages, restrictions or errors of these third-party providers.

8.5 Technical interruptions

Uninterrupted availability of the services at all times is not owed.

In particular, maintenance, updates, technical problems or outages of external systems may temporarily cause restrictions.


9. Limitation of liability

9.1 Unlimited liability

We are only liable without limitation:

  • in the event of intent,

  • gross negligence,

  • injury to life, body or health,

  • and in cases of mandatory statutory liability.

9.2 Limited liability

In the event of simple negligence, we are only liable for breach of essential contractual obligations.

Liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract.

9.3 Exclusion of further liability

Otherwise, liability is excluded.

In particular, we are not liable for:

  • university decisions,

  • examination assessments,

  • academic consequences,

  • improper use,

  • direct submission,

  • acts of deception,

  • lost opportunities,

  • data loss,

  • or consequential damage.


10. Refunds and goodwill

10.1 Entitlement to a refund

A refund may be made if the service provided clearly fails to meet essential agreed requirements, for example:

  • significant deviations in the number of pages,

  • wrong citation style,

  • serious structural defects,

  • or technically unusable content.

10.2 Goodwill arrangement

Irrespective of this, StudyGhost AI may offer voluntary goodwill services.

These may include in particular:

  • discounted re-creation,

  • vouchers,

  • or re-generation.

There is no entitlement to this.


11. Prohibited use

In particular, the Customer undertakes not to use the services:

  • to deceive universities,

  • to submit unchanged content as their own work,

  • for mass redistribution,

  • for resale,

  • for unlawful purposes,

  • or to circumvent academic guidelines.


12. Rights of use

After full payment, the Customer receives a simple, non-exclusive right to use the content provided.

The rights serve exclusively for personal use.

Commercial exploitation or redistribution is prohibited.

The rights of use only arise after full payment.


13. Support and communication

Support is provided primarily by email.

14. Complaints

Complaints can be submitted by email at any time.

StudyGhost AI endeavours to process them promptly.


15. Changes to the services and GTC

StudyGhost AI reserves the right to:

  • adapt services,

  • change functions,

  • further develop services,

  • or discontinue parts of the offering.

Contracts already concluded remain unaffected by such changes.


16. Place of jurisdiction and applicable law

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies exclusively, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

To the extent permitted by law, the place of jurisdiction is Berlin.


17. Severability clause

Should any provision of these GTC be or become invalid in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

The invalid provision shall be replaced by the legally permissible provision that comes closest to the economic purpose.

StudyGhost AI uses external technical service providers and platforms.

These may include in particular:

  • Supabase,

  • Google Drive,

  • Resend,

  • Vercel,

  • Weaviate,

  • cloud providers,

  • as well as AI and API services.

No liability is accepted for outages, restrictions or errors of these third-party providers.

8.5 Technical interruptions

Uninterrupted availability of the services at all times is not owed.

In particular, maintenance, updates, technical problems or outages of external systems may temporarily cause restrictions.


9. Limitation of liability

9.1 Unlimited liability

We are only liable without limitation:

  • in the event of intent,

  • gross negligence,

  • injury to life, body or health,

  • and in cases of mandatory statutory liability.

9.2 Limited liability

In the event of simple negligence, we are only liable for breach of essential contractual obligations.

Liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract.

9.3 Exclusion of further liability

Otherwise, liability is excluded.

In particular, we are not liable for:

  • university decisions,

  • examination assessments,

  • academic consequences,

  • improper use,

  • direct submission,

  • acts of deception,

  • lost opportunities,

  • data loss,

  • or consequential damage.


10. Refunds and goodwill

10.1 Entitlement to a refund

A refund may be made if the service provided clearly fails to meet essential agreed requirements, for example:

  • significant deviations in the number of pages,

  • wrong citation style,

  • serious structural defects,

  • or technically unusable content.

10.2 Goodwill arrangement

Irrespective of this, StudyGhost AI may offer voluntary goodwill services.

These may include in particular:

  • discounted re-creation,

  • vouchers,

  • or re-generation.

There is no entitlement to this.


11. Prohibited use

In particular, the Customer undertakes not to use the services:

  • to deceive universities,

  • to submit unchanged content as their own work,

  • for mass redistribution,

  • for resale,

  • for unlawful purposes,

  • or to circumvent academic guidelines.


12. Rights of use

After full payment, the Customer receives a simple, non-exclusive right to use the content provided.

The rights serve exclusively for personal use.

Commercial exploitation or redistribution is prohibited.

The rights of use only arise after full payment.

Support is provided primarily by email.

14. Complaints

Complaints can be submitted by email at any time.

StudyGhost AI endeavours to process them promptly.


15. Changes to the services and GTC

StudyGhost AI reserves the right to:

  • adapt services,

  • change functions,

  • further develop services,

  • or discontinue parts of the offering.

Contracts already concluded remain unaffected by such changes.


16. Place of jurisdiction and applicable law

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies exclusively, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

To the extent permitted by law, the place of jurisdiction is Berlin.


17. Severability clause

Should any provision of these GTC be or become invalid in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

The invalid provision shall be replaced by the legally permissible provision that comes closest to the economic purpose.
